Another TV show that I and my colleagues follow is JLU. Yes it's a cartoon, and kids enjoy it. But it's not a silly superhero cartoon, it is very well written, and the characterization is excellent. That is what I enjoy the most, the little character moments. It is well worth checking out. The first episode of the new season introduces what seems to be the whole season's subplot, this time creating a "league" for the villains. It makes sense, if all superheroes band together, the villains should do that too. The second episode is a very nice story about Hawkman. Hawkman has a very confusing origin in the comics, having been retold countless times. In this episode the story is easy and it ties perfectly with the Shayara-Green Lantern relationship.
